Risto has successfully performed more than 100 demanding top and middle management executive searches for the financial sector as well as Finnish and international industrial and services companies. Risto’s searches have spanned all the Nordic countries, Poland, Germany, Russia and Luxembourg. Risto has also performed several executive searches for board members of listed companies as well as family businesses and participated in numerous Management Review processes.

Before starting at JFP Executive Search in 2011, Risto worked as president of a corporate bank for more than 20 years and was in charge of the management and development of corporate banking, including sales, marketing, consultation services, risk management and financial administration.

Risto holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. In addition, Risto has completed several business management programmes, including INSEAD in Singapore.

Risto has been a board member of the FEX Finnish Executive Search Firms’ Association since 2015.
